This city will also allow the incubation of niches dedicated to human resource development in traditional crafts, tourism, hospitality and services. As a whole, this large-scale project will allow the creation of 30,000 permanent and stable jobs. With regards to the first phase named 'Bab Al Bahr', involving a total investment of nearly 7 billion dirhams, it includes the following works:
The second major project launched in the region is the” regeneration of Rabat’s corniche”, and notably its first phase “the Rabat corniche Development”, consisting of the development of the coastal area south of the capital, through the realization of a new centrality in the urban fabric and the emphasizing of the maritime facade.
