Annual review of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Investment Center (CRI RSK)

At the Board of Directors meeting held on March 28, 2024, chaired by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region and attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies (MICEPP), the key figures for 2023 were presented, highlighting the activities of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Investment Center (CRI RSK).

The unified regional investment commission (Commission régionale unifiée d’investissement – CRUI) reviewed a total of 957 applications out of 1,076 submitted on the CRI-Invest platform. The investment files approved by the CRUI represent a considerable amount of over 81MMAD, and are likely to generate nearly 74,000 jobs.

No fewer than 340 CRUIs were organized to process these files, demonstrating exceptional commitment and a sustained work rate. In addition to the above-mentioned files submitted on the CRI-Invest platform, 150 requests for prior appraisal were submitted to the CRI RSK.

In terms of support, more than 850 investors and project promoters were received at the CRI-RSK during 2023, benefiting from immediate assistance, while 1,200 project promoters were supported under the Integrated Business Support and Financing Program (PIAFE).

On a completely different note, one of the major achievements of 2023 will undoubtedly be the official launch of the first version of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra regional investment observatory. This observatory is generally aimed at any entity or person wishing to explore the supply and dynamics of investment on a regional scale. www.observatoire.rabatinvest.ma; a platform that consolidates over 30,000 data, enables responses to over 200 queries and disseminates up-to-date, reliable and evolving data.

On the strength of its promising figures, CRI RSK reaffirms its commitment to facilitating investment and playing a key role in regional economic development.
